TITLE Influence of specialized speed training on the development of speed in a U15 football player. AUTHOR Ondřej Šíma DEPARTMENT Department of physical education SUPERVISOR PaedDr. Ladislav Pokorný ABSTRACT This thesis focuses on the analysis of speed skills and their improvement in U15 soccer players, using a monthly specialized speed program. The first part of the thesis contains a detailed review of the necessary theoretical background. From the basics of general and soccer training to information specifically focused on the development of speed abilities in players in this age category. In the second part, independent research is conducted. The research involves speed testing and subsequent analysis of players' speed ability. Subsequently, the improvement of the players after undergoing a month-long specialized speed training is analyzed and compared to players who did not participate in this program and underwent a regular preparation period. The main outcome of this work should be to find out if the monthly specialized speed training has a greater impact on speed development than the regular preparation period. Title: Winter preparation of an amateur road cyclist Objectives: The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to establish a three-month training plan for an amateur road cyclist during the winter preparation period in local conditions. Methods: The bachelor thesis uses experimental and comparative methods. The experiment took the form of a three-month training plan, from December to February, in which we included exercises ranging from general to specific. The comparative part of the bachelor thesis consists of the comparison of input and output of the measured values (body composition, performance test on a running machine and spirometry), analysing whether any progress was made as a result of the training plan, and which skills were particularly affected by it. Results: We can only objectively evaluate the changes in the body composition of the studied subject, as he injured himself towards the end of experiment and we were therefore unable to conduct the performance test on a running machine and spirometry. The Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) enabled us to notice a decrease in the fat mass from 8.4% to 7% and an increase in the muscle mass in the area of the upper body from 34.5 kg to 35 kg. Because of the complexity of the workout, the muscle mass in the lower body was reduced in order to...

Analysis of changes in endurance assumptions of ice hockey players during summer preparatory period
HOLICKÝ, Tomáš
The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison and evaluation of VO2max test results and body dimensions before and after the summer preparation for players of the ice-hockey team. We compared and evaluated the results. In total, 29 players were tested. This is one ice-hockey team where are different age groups of players. We tested the players in a functional diagnostic lab on a cycling ergometer. We have identified values that determine the maximum oxygen consumption of VO2max in muscle work, anaerobic threshold (ventilation). In the lab, we also had to measure the basic somatic dimensions of each individual on Tanita (foot scale) before testing. The practical part characterizes the test files, the procedure, the test results and the used test devices. Measured and resultant values are reported and processed in tables and graphs that were created in Statistics 12. The thesis confirmed the expected increase in VO2max at the end of the preparatory period as well as an increase in the percentage of muscle mass associated with body fat loss and weight loss.

Methods: The research was performed by motor testing. To determine the status fitness indicators and its changes in the pre - season of the two clubs we have chosen five selected motor tests battery by the Football Association of the Czech Republic - tests of strength skills, speed skills, endurance and agility. Results: Significant change of fitness indicators during pre - season period occurred in one club in two motor tests and in the second one in three motor tests. Although partial changes occurred the assumption of improvement in overall fitness indicators has not been confirmed. The observation period (5 and 8 weeks) to achieve substantial changes is probably insufficient.
